Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. When she was a teenager she sang in both the traditional and popular music. But, her music interests have widened to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player who is renowned for her talent, described her voice as one that is sweet, with a traditional bit. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded the Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third full-length album. It included collaborations with fellow performers and producers like Cory Henry. The release date was March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the very first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. Motomami the album by Rosalia that won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to receive won the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
