Audrey Justine Tautou is a French actress and model who gained international recognition with her portrayal of an eccentric and shy waitress in romance film Amelie which won her several prizes and awards. Tautou is often compared times with Audrey Hepburn due to her attractiveness beautiful appearance and acting talent. Acting did not seem like a likely career choice for the pretty dark-haired girl that was born into a clan of intellectuals her father worked as a dentist while mother was a teacher. In school she caught the acting bug and made a decision to become a full-time actor. She is a daring actress and has been in various styles from romantic comedies such as Amelie and suspenseful films like Dirty Pretty Things. The actress was born in France and acted in numerous French films prior to getting her Hollywood appearance in The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks. She is held in high regard in regard to her fashion sense and is considered to be a fashionista.
