Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico was born into a music-loving family. The majority of her childhood listening to classical music and boleros of the past, classic ranchero or romantic music along with older classical songs. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as drama and opera. Ana started learning how to play and sing at an early age together with her mom. She was given more formal training in singing when she was 16 years old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In her early career, she was spent performing with various chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. Following her move into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her home in southern California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Her passion for singing, music as well as the arts keeps her involved in local activities for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana has been a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
